Like if they have 0 caps and you buy a 3000 caps plan, their stack will only go to 300 or something ridiculous like that.Ītlas, Foundation, 76 and Crater are free fast travel points. So don't try to buy 1400 caps of notes to replenish their stack. When buying from vendors, there's a big tax. Also, many mats are useless, like asbestos, which you get lots from looting and can sell. Get the "Mutants Association" perk card and always play on a team to reduce their downside.īloodied (those players you see with high rad levels) is not the only build and certainly not for new players.ĭon't stash water, heals or meds.
#FALLOUT 76 BUILDS 2021 REDDIT MODS#
You won't lose anything.ĭon't bother with buying stuff from Mumpmrh and only buy mods from it (but this are heavy so don't bother until you need them or hit the scrip limit 5000)Įmbrace mutations as they're helpful. Just by standing near the decoders is really helpful. Play the easy events like Tea Party, Feed the People, the Mothman one.ĭon't be afraid to join DailyOps. If you can stash sugar, it also allows to cook tasty stuff like the red berries sauce. The faster you build on INT the faster you gain XP.ĭon't eat the irradiated Sugar Bombs (there are two types, the irradiated ones are used to cook useful stuff once you hit +100) better to stash them. Many useful plans also drop during main missions.ĭon't invest too much on Rifleman/Sneak build.ĭon't destroy any perk cards until you get your first Legendary perk unlocked. Play the main quest at least up to the point where you get the Chinese Sneak armor. When on a workshop, the green mats counter means you're building with the mats present at the workshop and won't use yours. I started a month ago and at level 260 I wish I knew: Whatever you do from there on is completely up to you. The moment you step out of Vault 76 you are at the endgame. The game is more about creating your own experience than getting to any kind of endgame.īecause it is all endgame. There's more quests now than at launch but in comparison to other Fallout titles 76 is not as story driven. If you rush the quests then you run out of quests. The most important thing in 76 is to relax and do your own thing. So after that change getting ammo for whatever gun you like using should be easier. This will also change in the near future and after this change mobs will gain a chance to drop whatever caliber bullet that kills them. Ammo becomes much easier to get when you get a couple levels under your belt.

If you find ammo to be an issue early on then just go melee for a couple levels. Just try different stuff and see what is the most fun for you. And since you unlock perks as you level up making an actual build isn't something you need to worry about early on. There is absolutely no urgency or end to reach. Crafted gear and random stuff that you pick up or get as rewards from events should serve you well while leveling.įallout 76 is at its core a casual single player experience with other people. So everything you get before 45-50 you will out level.

Max level for gear is lvl 50 (for certain guns it's lvl 45). You don't want to be in lvl 15 gear at lvl 25 for example. When you are leveling up (untill level 50) make sure your gear is level with your character. Everyone ignores everyone else in a Casual Team. Do sidequests, join events and just generally enjoy yourself. In the final room (there's a npc with a tragic tale to tell in this room) you will find the plan for the small backpack.Īfter this point take a break from main quests and go exploring the area. These perk cards give you different abilities and bonuses and can be upgraded by combining cards of the same type together to increase whatever bonus they give.Follow the Overseer's quest until you get to Morgantown Airport.

Each point you spend in a stat gives you, in essence, another slot that you can fit a perk card into. By level 50, you'll have gotten all of the skill points that you're going to get (and probably some mutations along the way, and though they're going to be left out of this build guide, they can be useful tools for a build), leveling out at 56 points to spread across the seven different stats. Plenty of players are still making their way through the Appalachians in the post-apocalypse of Fallout 76, and at this point, many of those players have gathered the max amount of points to spend on their S.P.E.C.I.A.L. (Updated on December 27th, 2019 with five more builds to include updates to Fallout 76)
